  Stormwater Monitoring

An NPDES construction site can be any size site that has the potential to impact a water system of the state. An NPDES Construction Site is required to implement a Best Management and Practices Plan (BMP) and a Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan, if fuel is stored onsite. All NPDES construction sites must be monitored by a Qualified Credentialed Professional (QCP). This requires the QCP to perform a comprehensive inspection of the BMP’s at the site at least once a month and after each ¾ inch rain event.

BECC, Inc. can perform a wide range of services for Stormwater Pollution Prevention on construction sites. We can design the Best Management Practices (BMP’s), apply for the Notice of Record (NOR) and perform all the necessary BMP Inspections throughout the project. We have an EPA certified mobile Turbidity Unit that can analyze the turbidity of receiving streams in the field so corrections can be made to the BMP’s more rapidly and before significant pollution can occur.

All inspections by BECC are performed by a QCP and reviewed by a Professional Engineer. BECC, Inc. has been performing NPDES inspections for over 10 years. We keep up to date with the changing requirements of the inspections to keep our clients in compliance.
